Former Cowboy wrestler Bryce Meredith is set to compete at this weekend’s Dave Schultz Memorial International at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The event will begin Thursday, with freestyle scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. MT on Friday morning. Meredith will compete in the 65kg freestyle division. Fans will be able to watch the tournament live on FloWrestling, with live scoring available on FloArena.

The Dave Schultz Memorial International was created by USA Wrestling and Nancy Schultz to honor the memory of accomplished wrestler and wrestling ambassador Dave Schultz, who passed away in 1996. The tournament was established to represent the spirit of friendship, sportsmanship and goodwill that Schultz exemplified.

Meredith wrapped up his Wyoming career last season as a three-time All-American and two-time NCAA runner-up. He finished with 94 wins as a Cowboy, and 109 overall in his career. Meredith and fellow senior Archie Colgan (157 pounds) became the first Cowboys to earn Big 12 titles in Tulsa, Okla., last season.

Adult admission is $20 for an all-session pass, $15 per day or $10 per session. High school student and senior citizen admission is $5 per day. Admission for youths (5-14 years old) is $4 per day.
